THE ECONOMIES OF CENTRAL-WEST AFRICA ARE AT A HISTORICAL CROSSROADS IN THEIR ONGOING DEVELOPMENT. RECENT ADVANCES IN TECH AND THE DISCOVERY OF NEW NATURAL RESOURCES HAVE CREATED PREVIOUSLY UNIMAGINABLE OPPORTUNITY FOR THE RELATIVELY YOUNG NATIONS THAT OCCUPY THIS PART OF THE WORLD.

With this in mind, at Shanah Investments we see it as our ethical duty to ensure that our businesses contribute to the communities in which they operate. We expect our partners and businesses to comply with the laws and customs of the land as well as respect the local environment.

Our core commitment is to act in a fair, transparent and ethical manner within each company we operate. Through the creation and management of sustainable and well-established businesses we seek to contribute to the development of the communities and societies in which we work.

Mayena Productions originally began as a small music production firm seeking to discover and sign young Gabonese artists. It subsequently developed an event management branch and was responsible for delivering high-attendance (over 15,000 people) concerts by Stromae and Section d’Assault at the National Stadium in Libreville.

Whilst the firm was initially set as a commercial venture, over time it has become Shanah Investment’s flagship charitable operation providing a helping hand to ambitious local artists in taking the next step big in their musical careers.

Mayena Productions now helps over 20 artists by providing them with professional musical equipment as well as expert advice about the industry. By funding this organisation, Shanah looks to give back to the youth community in the dynamic city of Libreville.
